Endless Stairway

"Creepy, disjointed, and fun!"

submission: Endless Stairway
date: April 15, 2007

Not your average track!
Quality overall is nice and the minimalistic feel works really well.

Certainly not traditional feeling, either -- piano & drums with a lot of tempo-motion and with a sort of progressive feel and a really clever loop point.

The title fits the track, and implies some sort of crazy exploratory emotion. Good work!

Cavity

"Collaborate and Quantize!"

submission: Cavity
date: April 9, 2007

Doing jam sessions on a guitar is cool and fun, but without any other instruments -- no percussion, and no way for your listeners to find a groove -- doesn't let the tune shine like it should.

Find some way to get a beat in there and play against the drums so your tune is steady and not just a collection of random-tempo clips!

But with all that said, you're on the right road to throwing down some pretty sick stuff. Your best bet is probably to get with another musician and collaborate -- I'll bet you can find someone to compliment your style and bring up both your popularity!

Looking forward to more --

Author's Response:

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions, I see what you're saying as well, for this song it was more intented just to be basically random fills(hence the name cavity as in fillings...yeah me and my brother are probably the only ones that laugh at that). Yeah, hopefully we can find someone who would want to jam with us, thanks for the review again, we really appreciate it.
